New Deal Design was invited to envision novel form factors for Niantic’s upcoming AR hardware. Drawing on an expertise in user-centric design, we embarked on a journey to redefine how users interact with augmented reality, pushing the boundaries of technological integration and human experience. Through a collaborative process, we explored sleek, ergonomic designs that seamlessly merge with everyday life, enhancing immersion and usability. With a focus on both aesthetics and functionality and their exising expertise in AR, their hardware demonstrates a path to revolutionize the way we perceive and engage with AR technology, ushering in a new era of immersive experiences.
