I’m Matthew Koscica, an industrial designer and multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco, California, currently making things for Logitech.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Arizona by a symphony musician and a product developer, I grew up valuing and cultivating creative expression.

I’m a community-minded person, and my passion for design is fueled by an interest in people, their personal stories, and their relationships with each other. I’m fascinated by the ways products and technology shape the landscape of our day to day lives, our interpersonal interactions, and our personal behaviors and habits. In this life, we have the opportunity to make things or serve others, and industrial design affords us the opportunity to do both.

Before discovering industrial design, my professional background included working in forestry and co-authoring published scientific studies, painting professionally, and tattooing. I am continually surprised by how those experiences have translated into a unique, creative, and human-centered design perspective.

Please reach out. I’m always looking to create new friendships and learn about new projects.
